Privacy Policy for MMT COTS

MakeMyTechnology (“we”, “us”) develops the MMT COTS application (“the App”). This policy explains what the App accesses, why, and what leaves your device.

In short: MMT COTS is an on-device network-diagnostic tool. Your measurement data (radio KPIs, logs, drive-test routes) is stored locally on your device and is not sent to us. We run no analytics or advertising SDKs. The only data that leaves your device is what you choose to export or share, plus the requests made to the third-party services listed below when you use optional features.

Optional features that send data to third parties

When you use these features, the relevant content is sent to that provider only to return a result:

AI Log Assistant / AI Chat — the text of your question (and any log snippet you include) is sent to the configured AI provider (Groq, and optionally OpenAI) to generate a response.
Maps — map tiles are loaded from Google Maps when you open a map view.
Speed / throughput tests — quick drive tests fetch test payloads from Cloudflare; standard tests connect to an iPerf server you configure.
In-app purchases — subscriptions are processed by Google Play Billing; we never see or store your payment details.

Data we collect about you

None by default. The App has no advertising or analytics SDK and does not create a user account. A random device identifier (Android ID) is used only to manage your free trial / subscription entitlement and is not linked to your identity.

Data sharing & sale

We do not sell your data and do not share personal data with third parties except as needed to provide the optional features you actively use (above).

Data retention & deletion

Measurement data lives on your device until you delete it in the App (Settings → App Storage) or uninstall the App. For any other request, contact us at the address below.

Children

MMT COTS is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13.

Security

Data stays on your device. All network requests use HTTPS/TLS. Any key you enter (for example an AI provider API key) is stored in the device’s app-private storage.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date above will change.
